Gits.  ::)  lol

They really are lovely figures. There's the odd strange pose, mainly the ones lifting rifles up to fire, but there's some real gems in the packs too. The command and sword armed packs are by far my favourites.  :D

I will get some, I especially like the command pack as well. but I am more keen to see the Brits.

I'll post up some pics as I go- painting up some Perry Foundry sculpts as I speak.

I've nearly finished the four Foundry (in my spare time gents!) and i'll do the Artizan one's next. There is a size and a bulk difference, but I'd say wait until you see them painted up.....

I haven't seen any greens but believe Dewbakuk (if I remember correctly) has seen them before they disappeared into a mould.

Where is that man?  :)

As an aside, any idea what colours the irregulars flags would have been Darrell? I'm leaning towards a black triangular rag myself..

To be honest all I know is that the banners were triangular in shape and most tribes and sub-tribes of 'irregulars'/tribesman had their own distinct flag. There was a Colonial publication (name escapes me now) that has info on the subject and I'm hoping to order some back issues. I'll let you know when/if i get the info matey.

Darrell.

I'm here, I'm here, calm yourselves!  :D

What's the actual question?

I've seen the greens for British Infantry, some superb officers including one in a mountain coat that I have to have and a few jacketed Indian troops. There were also dolly parts for more Indians. Afghan regulars will be done but as far as I'm aware the Brits/Indian Army is first. All the figures I saw have gone into master moulds but no production moulds yet as far as I know.

My guess would be for a similar release to the Pathans, so probably waiting for a decent set of packs to release as a block.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Suits me! I prefer releases that are in blocks than to the one's that trickle out. You know where you are that way.

Oh dear I seem to be a Git..

'Twas me who purchased (nearly) all the figures at Salute. It was me or someone else and I figured I deserved them as much as any other man. More so, as I got there first...  lol

I did however leave two packs of rifles as I had enough of them.

Surprised about how few packs were available...

Dont worry I don't hold a grudge for long lol

Yep it was odd they had so few given these would probably be in demand.

I did apologise to the chap at the Martian game... Hopefully that will mean the grudge will be short lived.

I wanted 4 units worth, 2 24 man units with swords, 2 18 man units with guns. They still had to post me half a dozen packs...

Like you I would have thought these would be big sellers as there has been a bit of a buzz about them. I wonder how long until the next release...

What grudge ??? ;)

I'm going to wait and order them once the Brits are available. I should imagine given what Dewbakuk said earlier that we will see these in about a month.

I've got one based ready to paint as a colour test.

So Artizan better hurry up with the Brits or they'll be an uprising before they know it!  ::)

No clue, sorry. We are dealing with a sculptor here...

Apparently there were more Afghans at Dave Thomas' stand on the other side of the hall. I didn't go to it so can't confirm but I've been told they were there for most of the day (Probably because no one knew they were there).
