Nice work on the Sopwith you have made and painted. Please consider 1914 planes in the mix of things in commemoration of the beginning of the Great War.

All the best,

Helen

Is this the one that I saw when I was down that day?
It is very nice and when you told me how many parts I was rather surprised haha. Will be interesting to see what other planes you settle on :)

I'll try ,there will be a pusher at the very least(Because I like them and thats the plane that sum's up ww1for me).
The Sopwith was the first purely because of its size.It proved ideal for a workable concept.Which means I can say( without crossing too many fingers)That most Planes can be made in Three resin parts.
But the number of Pm's I've had.makes me think that planes are an even bigger can of worms than the armoured cars are. There also a damned sight harder to make lol

All right, I'll come clean Helen I wanted a kite for my Biggles and just so I can miss quote"if you can make a Sopwith Camel you can make any thing!" :DBut then thats the point of a proof of concept model.

Yes it is Matt, but thats the point the more parts the more joints and the more weak points.
Scale modeling vs Wargaming modeling is a simple case of - To look at. vs. To pick up.and you've got sculpt with that in mind.Or your models end up more superglue than casting after a couple of games.

Thank you, that's quite okay. Biggles needs a reliable plane to start with. Now in 1914, Biggles can fly a pusher in Belgian markings. :-)

Keep up the grand work.

All the best,

Helen
