Eldar Recon Grav Tank
« on: April 06, 2014, 03:59:17 PM »

I built this mouse grav tank today. The gun was made with plastic beads I err.. borrowed from my daughter.

Indeed. That was a good vibe but then came Mister Bombastic and it all went to Davey Jones' locker.

I've several meeses waiting ANYTHING, but I can never decide which way the should 'point'...  lol

Years ago, I'd seen one used with LEG Star Wars figs that seriously impressed me. And, working at the old dinosaur computer centre that I do, plenty of fodder to acquire from dust bins.

Well done on the appropriate use of grandchildren! Alas, mine are far enough away, no joy at the subtle liberation.

So, I've been sending gifts to lead them astray. As both enjoyed a simplified 40K at a con last fall, I've been sending Mega Blox Halo figures to the lad, and, for the lass, picked up a box of Fire Warriors to graft Hello Kitty bead heads upon.

Mates at the store use the most impressive language at the thought...  :D

Good catch! I assumed plastic spoon, but now realized I was mentally adding foreshortening that doesn't match the angle of the view.

It is a spoon! but it was a special fancy pointy little plastic spoon I nicked at a someones birthday party. While having an average birthday conversation and eating delicious shrimps in a fancy angular cup of ambiguous symmetries (that I nicked too) I looked at the spoon and the mind's inner voices whispered;"Eldar.....Canopy....Eldar.....". I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. :D

Right.

*One look at his avatar, and they all backed away...*

Course, then I looked at mine, and it was all 'right as rain...'

Edit: You know, I've eschewed all asym mice, but that proves a talented madman, er,visionary can overcome such obstacles.

Absolutely! :D

Great work, the perfect example of a good combination of imagination and craftmanship :)
