How do you make a Red Dragon in IHMN?

I know we have rules for vehicles and to be honest the current rules do not need much work to translate to Fantasy(I little side project). My biggest issue is is stating out the huge creatures like Dragons, I can give them a pluck of 2+ and the best armour but a peasant with dagger and luck can kill it in one shot. Now what I was thinking is the dragon could have multiple stat lines (You pay for each) It would start out like this Pluck 2+ FV+4 SV+4 Speed +2  then it gets hit and it goes to Pluck 3+ FV +3 SV +3 Speed +2. It would continue down like this until all of the stat lines are gone. Just one Idea I am open to others but a huge red dragon would be your entire army for example using my method. (No I have not tested this since I have to wait till next month to get a reaper dragon:'(. )

I'm not sure such a creature would be as vulnerable as you think.

Plick 2+, Armour 17, Arc Cannon to simulate a breath weapon, terrifying total 119 points. It should be able to take out most parties with some ease.

Yes, a crack team with an arc cannon would worry it but otherwise ...

A peasant like Bard the Bowman of the city of Dale perhaps?  lol

Tough armour and a 2+ Pluck should be enough, after all this is a skirmish game, not the Battle of Five Armies. And I'd give it a flamethrower for breath, not an arc cannon  ;D

Not sure what this means but could a kid theoretically not just punch the dragon and have a chance to kill it even with the high armour and low puck?

How would I define what is a peasant?

Basically, anybody who is revolting. Unpleasant folks may just be civil servants, so use discretion. ;)

On a more practical note, I'd say since peasants have the worst luck in the world (what with all those unelected kings around), maybe have all figures who aren't knights pass a chance test of sorts to avoid the drake's attentions. Dragons don't discriminate when it comes to dinner, or so I've been told.

With armour 17, anyone who can't get +7 on shooting or fighting can't even hit the beast, so is therefore a peasant  lol

It ignores it's first pluck roll, and cannot be affected by mystical powers.

You would have to be insane to attack it. No-one who can't get a +7 on their combat can even hit it.

I like it I will add Great Sword (Big Claws and nasty teeth) Bringing the total up to 159 points
I was toying with giving it flight but really it will just walk.
I might drop Impervious for Fearless since it would suck if you 160ish point model ran from a 24 point model with terrifying

Given the size of a dragon figure on a 36"x36" table -- yeah, not really much need for flight.

Should the tailwhip be treated as a club?

You only get one melee attack around so it might as well be great sword. Perhaps the Tail whip would be a short range attack six inches with pistol stats or some such thing.
