I use an older Olympus digital C-740 Ultra Zoom, 3.2 Mega pixel-10x optical zoom with the macro mode, tripod,timer, and adjusted white balance setting. A couple of swing arm lamps with 100watt Reveal bulbs (same light that I use to paint with) and I off-white background.
