Tough one for sure, both excellent scenes. In the end, I had to p-p-p-pick the p-p-p-penguins.

My god Hammers, how do you dream up these astonishing scenes?  That is truly wonderful. I have to ask, what role does the man and his dog play in this one?
Great monks D@rth, well painted and photographed but up against a man on fire.

That's Mr Cellulite, Treasurer to the Société Pythean, Merci-Le-Petite, France, chapter, out to collect late membership fees.

HLBS... could be, could be. Or RAFM... I bugs me I can't better sculpts and have more varied poses than MM...

I just checked their 'MU Expedition' - only one and not fantastic sculpt. Didn't browse through the whole catalogue, though.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

D@rth J@ymZ: Where did you get the building model that is behind the monks?

The Temple is from John Jenkins Designs.

Photoed end-on in the background.  A different angle of it was used in the background of my Round 2 entry "Wu-Tong Clan."
A beautiful kit with a removable roof and great detail.

Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb...

Hammers, this is ANOTHER epic little dio.

Really nice monks D@rth J@ymZ. Those are at the top of my "to buy next" list, and you certainly bring hte best of the models.

The HUGE difference in voting DOES NOT reflect the HIGH QUALITY of both entries.

Best wishes.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Yes, it happens a lot in LPL that's the way it works you get a lot of people almost 50-50 that go one way...

I think the Prof should develop a very complex system with 5 votes per LAFERS, with carry over ballots and round robin...

The Jade Buddha is from Pulp Figures.
The Buddha in the background was cheap nicknack from a local Chinatown giftshop.

These are two sumptuous entries  :-*

Is the subs collector going to be making and appearance in all of your rounds Hammers - hope so a bit like where's Wally.  How do you manage to get so much stuff ready - I'm just about keeping ahead of the deadlines with 5 figures a pop.

Darth gorgeous scene full of inner piece with great painted miniatures
