I'm not at all worried about whatever the new arrivals might be.  I'm still so darned happy with the initial Kickstart.  Whatever shows up, I will jump on.  Gentlemen, thanks ever so much for all your efforts to date.

I wanted to use Empress British and SAS for a modernised refight of 1972 battle of Mirbat using the Force on Force scenario in Classified.

Unfortunately, I need an 81mm mortar and a .50 Browning and two GPMGs.  None of these are available in the current Empress collection.

I also realised that the new Empress PLA do not have any kind of bipod LMG or tripod HMG.
The only SAW is a light assault rifle with a round magazine.

Imprint did an excellent .50 cal in their range. Empress now own the Imprint line so maybe they will get around.

In the meantime Gripping Beast do a .50 cal with Argentine crew. Eureka have a sublime one (minus tripod) in their FAV crew set. Actually there are more .50 cals out there than you can shake a fist at, Company B do another and that's without looking at all the 1/48 models.

Mongrel did an 81mm mortar if you can obtain one though Newline Designs, as do Commando miniatures. S&Sdo some artillery crew that you might be able to use.

Empress are going to be re-releasing the mounted weapons, but with an all new and updated .50 (it was remastered for the M-ATV).

Keith will that include, the TOW and the tripos mounted .50? Those are excellent models.

Yep - all of those, but with the much improved .50.
Probably not unreasonable to expect crewed versions for various armies too.
