The one with the Underground sign prominent looks like it might be the grand stair way of the Natural History Museum.

These are great pics. I once wrote my own Post apocalyptic game set in Britain, these would have made good deco.

Not to be picky but ...the Thames has never been that deep in Central London (it used to be a wide shallow river with marshy areas either side - these were gradually drained filled in etc until the 19th Century when the embankments were constructed as part of the plan to combat the "Great Stink") - something seriously odd must have happened to gouge out the riverbed like that.

Maybe flooding perhaps uncontrolled as the world ended?

You could just visit Birmingham. Doesn't even need modifying to look the part.
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

To quote Warhammer 40,000:

"Birmingham is also known as the Black Planet, as it receives almost no visible light from its system's sun. As a result, the planet receives few visitors, and its inhabitants have become linguistically and culturally isolated. "

Ooh now. You better watch it.  ;)

Although I live in Brimingham I am a northerner, and not a native of brum: However, Brummie Thug is the real deal and those brummies get a bit sensitive when southern shandy drinkers poke fun at their beloved city.

I rest my case.  :D

Hey, I've got a big white horse watching over my little town. We fear no mortals.

And I drink rum and liqueur.  :-[
