Great work, I am collecting figures for a similar HOTT army, buy my painting won't match yours. Who is the guy in yellow with the horned helmet and cross shield on the right in the sixth picture, he is very Froudian.

Yes, he is RAFM. Just bought one myself some time ago  :)

Finished a giant robot/golem today. It is controlled by a particularly brave goblin.

I like this! Very pulpy robot.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I realise this is an old long forgotten thread. But I feel I must perform the necromantic rites to bring this back to life. Because I think just found something I had no idea I needed but it turns out i do - A LOT.

These comming minis from Tor gaming

Excelletn work and a very unique style these Labyrinth golbins have, that's for sure. We had a book of the movie at home, it told the story in hand-painted pictures with accompanying text, it was beautifully drawn and had big images of all characters like Ludo etc. as well as two-page spread scenes of iconic scenes like the battle in the goblin fortress. You should definitely try to get it sometime, I think it offers good reference material for thigns that are hard to see in the movie.

That being said, you absolutely NEED that big mecha the goblins use in the fortress scene! As well as the two guards that ask Sarah their riddle at the two portals (about who is always lying and who is telling the truth). These two looked really cool.

Rackham's Confrontation and Cadwallon ranges should also provide plenty of suitable miniatures.

If you do resurrect this you could  use Lucid Eyes "Alien Rockstar" as the Goblin King

They are cool, but I really wish somebody would make a range of models based on Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell's work 'the Edge Chronicles'!  :)

Only read this by coincedance, but i can't agree more! I've actually thought about starting a project based on the chronicles before, and making a thread dedicated to it here on LAF to see if there are more people interested. Seems so :)
I'll have a look for some models, and otherwise I'll start throwing some greenstuff together myself. Actually I'd like to add Muddle Earth to the project as well :)

Did you see the Zombicide black plague kickstarter?

you might be interested in the following miniature for your labyrinth. They had him as a stretch goal:

I guess you can always buy one of these via someone who backs the kickstarter if you want one.
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Yep I have seen him.
I am not backing this one myself. But I have already made arrangements for a certain crazy Viking to buy him for me once the kickstarter ends.

Sorry to go back to the beginning, but who makes the beaked, armoured figures you show in photos 1 and 3 of the original post? I really like their look, and while some of the Northumbrian sculpts are a similar idea, I like your fellows best. Thanks for any help.

Your project is very intriguing--I never saw the film back in the day, but now I'm interested. And as my wife love David Bowie,  I'm thinking it would be pretty easy to convince her to watch it!
