Oni Daemon Hoard army
« on: April 18, 2014, 11:04:43 PM »
Here are pictures (some bad, mental note when taken pictures with white turn off flash) of my Oni Daemon army that use in fantasy battle.
Painted most of this three years ago, finally found time and space to take some pictures.   But still add figures to the army as buy new ones that fit into the Oni theme.

Started this army off as wanted to do a different daemon army then other people and something always wanted to do to add to my Japanese’s Fantasy collections. Found figures to fit the different units in daemons of chaos army with some generic figs to use as whatever.

Funny thing to me is I have a painted Oni army, Orc and Goblin army in Japanese’s theme. But the only Human Samurai have painted is from my Warhammer ancients army did back in 1998, 1999. Which does not look great. Yet still buy a lot of Samurai figs that do not paint up.

Bad Group Shot

Slaanesh

Nurgle

Khorn

Tzeentch

Use these as Daemonettes, figs from game zone

Use this one as champion

Seekers of Slaanesh, rider from game zone, Stead from Fenryll

Use this one as champion, fig from anime tactics

Fiends of Slaanesh, figs from clan war range

Plaguebearers, Figs from Clan war

Use this fig as champion, fig from Okko

Beasts of Nurgle, fig from clan war

Nurglings fig from clan war. Also have another idea for the nurglings but maybe to dirty.

Bloodletters, figs from dixion

Use these as he champion, fig from anima tactics

Painted a second one with a spear, looked weird without a weapon. Did not know what the hands where doing.

Bloodcrushers, figs from reaper

Blue  Horrors, figs from dixion

Flamers of Tzeentch, figs from Malifaux

Want to repaint these one a little different

Screamers of Tzeentch, figs from reaper

Use these as the champions, figs from Malifaux

The next one use as generic characters in the army, did not paint with ay race in mind.

Mainly use this as my Daemon Prince, Fig from clan war

Wizard, fig from Otherworld Miniatures

Tried to do a cherry blossom tree

Fig from reaper

Next ones are from  Bushido - GCT Studios

Through him in as something, Was using him as Seekers of Slaanesh champion unitll one fig came out

This fig is from Hell Dorado

For musicians and standards made these out of bits , Still need to add the flags.

Great looking collection. Gives me some ideas for my "Gods and Mortals" Kojiki band.
I really like the often overlooked Dixon Japanese Myth range, some wonderful sculpts.
