This is honestly the closest comparison I have ever seen...

How lucky we are to see both artists work here!!

I'm going to have to wait until a third look to decide.

Amazing both!

Big ditto with everyone, that both are excellent.  Wish the  voting was with points 1-10 so could give each a 10.  All things being equal I vote for the dog, or in this case the lion :)  Also the uniqueness of the hunting scene.

I am interested in land warfare throughout history and beyond, except the Seven Years War, in Europe.

both stunning...I love the narrative with the lioness scene, and I love the details on the elephant et al. LPL at its best!  :-*

Both excellent entries but for me the lioness won it over the elephants.

Too difficult to choose.

Where is the cage from?

Where is the cage from?

It's a scratch build. Balsa wood and the 'metal' bits are styrene plastic. I imbedded a couple small magnets so that it can be open or closed.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

I'm pulling for you Matt but the outcome of this one doesn't look good! I too love the look of the lion. I had to look twice to see the goat in the cage. I thought they were releasing the lion myself. Awesome job just very tuff pairing this time!

I agree, the staging isn't quite right.

Between Bugsda and the Prof, I'm likely out of the running this year. I haven't even been 'Franked' yet :)

I agree, the staging isn't quite right.

I saw it as the lioness backing into the cage against her will... Having realized the goat was a ruse.

As for being out of the running... it's impossible to say. But what I can say is that I was fortunate not to have been matched up against either of you this round! :)

Thanks

Fantastic entry Prof. Still living up to your reputation as the 'Cecil B. Demille of miniature scenes' :)

Thanks, Matt! Actually I'm quite surprised at the voting, I didn't expect to perform that good because of your high-class brilliant movie-like scene. Also love to see some well painted Spartacus revolt figures, very inspiring!
