I remember him playing Prof Challenger in an adequate version of The Lost World.
Sadly under used - I would have enjoyed seeing more of Eddie Valiant.

Very sad news indeed.... I had no idea.

A inspirational actor who like someone said above, was sadly underused by the film industry- their loss.
