Heavy Gear new VTOLs
« on: April 27, 2014, 06:31:41 PM »
Finally came around to paint some more Heavy Gear!
This time Southern Pack Lizard Infantry. Pictures like these show the size of the Gears pretty nicely.

Ah... Wish these were 15mm scale.  Great painting as always, Agis.  The green turned out really beautiful.

Beautiful work! They have a bit of a Starwars Tatooine vibe going.

I do wish that Dream Pod 9 would actually make their figures affordable though!

All the best!

These look really great.  And agreed, it's nice to see the "scale" of the gears with human-sized figures too.

DP9 shipped me their new VTOL models, the VARIS and the Dragonfly. Both are very fine designs and in the usual high quality you expect from DP9!!!

VARIS with Jaeger and Southern Bike

Northern Dragonfly

I was thinking of starting a topic asking about fighter craft suited for 15mm. I think you just answered in advance.

The VARIS has a very studio ghibli look, or is that just me?

No, not just you.  The perfect vehicle for chasing ohmus over the toxic jungle.

Great work on these. I don't play Heavy Gear, but I've picked up a few of the gears to paint someday because they are such nice models.  Pics like these make me want to move them up the priority list.
