Plasti craft models who I buy from  http://www.miniaturemarket.com/pcgoldwest-06.html
has some easy and nice wild west building that are made of foam core and pretty inexpensive.
It come in a flat pack and is just plan foam core but it is very easy to scribe the walls with a blunt tool to give the wood grain effect. Not all that keen on the resin door(just does not seem to fit right) but for $5 you can adjust it to your liking.  I added the side door with left over pieces and use tissue for the tar paper roof, a few more modifications and I'll have another building for the town of "Hellish wells"

Natural weathering makes/made a lot of structures (especially wood) look a bit worn rapidly in real life so that may be  a plus.

I saw these and figured they might be pretty decent for a town on a budget.  Thanks for posting.

Instead of scoring the walls for wood-effect, I chose to add cardboard planking : http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=55394.0

These model can really be made to look quite well with a minimal effort.

That would only be $100 not a bad price for 20 of them. I am going to use most of these for ones I am not doing a lot of interior work on.
