Hydra Transfers
« on: April 14, 2014, 11:11:27 AM »
Hi guys, does anyone know if there are any hydra transfers available anywhere?

Or failing that, any tips on going about getting custom transfers//printing you own?

Cheers
Matt

Games Workshop 40K Chaos Space Marines Alpha Legion might suit your purposes?

Browsing eBay should get you something like this:

I might have some spare if that works?

Ar, I was wanting the red circle logo from captain America movie. :/ otherwise I'd take your offer in a heartbeat ;)

I saw company b does custom decals (even for eureka) but it would be nice if there was something in Aus.

Cheers
Matt

they are easy enough to make, I've just done some for a truck for my Home Guard.
I bought some A5 decal paper off eBay (5 sheets for £5) & printed them on an HP deskjet printer (that ran out of colour ink half way through!! so I've had to paint in some of the colour) then spray varnished the sheet when it was dry. Then used as normal decals.

Woks a treat  :D

Shipping to Australia is about $1

Custom sets are not that much more than regular sets, depending on the artwork.  If you are providing artwork we are actually cheaper than buying your own decal paper, ink and fixative.

If it's custom art, then it's a bit more depending on the complexity since I have to draw it.  The hydra logo looks like a skull (which we have already several types created ) and one set of tentacles/mirrored.   Like 5 minutes of work  :D

 :o

Well that is reasonable!

Do you need vector or is 300dpi tiff useable? Also what's the sheet size?

Thanks!
Matt

Would it help to keep the individual cost down knowing others are interested?  :D

@Constable, do you require the motto, or just the image? I'd prefer the latter.

Ah you interested too Doug? I just want the logo. I was going to do a big sheet with some other decals/pin ups. But I could knock it up earlier. What sized you need? I'm going for shoulder pads, small insignias on vehicles and large roundals. If you have specific needs let me know the diameter in millimetres and I'll put some on the sheet.

Cheers

Thinking of several uses, tiny up to 15mm, actually.
