The General and the Faqir
« on: May 08, 2014, 05:12:14 PM »
Had the Sterling Moose and the other fellows over last weekend for a game. Became a bit of a theme night, with a terrific curry dinner followed by some NW Frontier action. General Wooster had a bit of a dust up with the Faqir of Fartibad.

Hussar!!!!!

Oh wait I was on the other side, don't tell the Wazir of Pakhora will you.

A most excellent curry followed by a spot of fun on the gaming table!!

Very inspiring! I am currently working on large batches of models for my own NW Frontier project and it is things like this that keep me going. More please!  ;D

Oh, well look back on my blog under the Colonial tag, there are other battle reports (starting in May 2010) and a 5 part article on building the collection (part 1 is June 2010). Although my photos from back then are less then wonderful.

The fort and tower look great! Do you have a blog post about how you built them?

Thanks!

Part 2: http://www.rabbitsinmybasement.blogspot.ca/2012/09/fort-blood.html

They took me about 5 years to think about and then only a couple of weeks to actually make (including drying times for various coats of stuff)

It's just scraps of foam built up around a box.

If I do a Mk 2 it will have more/better steps for Pathan jezzailichis to crouch upon. And perhaps use wood bark chips.

And somehow look less terraced.
