... to stay out of the water, THW announced the NUTS, Final Version, completely compatible with the PTO (and I suspect Korean War) supplement is expected to be out around June, 2014.

       

Okay, there is a thread on what scale to use for WW2 which I do not, repeat NOT, want to recapitulate here!  Talk about that over there, please.

What I want is what is the largest size game/battle do you think is (scale independent) possible to put on the table for the PTO from 1936 (Japan/China) through mid 1943 (US Army versus Japanese) games?  I will say 2 to 6 players for talking parameters.  I am primarily interested in 1941-mid 1943 but earlier is possible...

Squads seems too small, Battalions (the Philippines at the end of the war which is outside my target timeline) seems too large...  What do you ee as possible/practical?
