As requested some pictures of the mat with a miniature and terrain. I really like the mat as it can easily be cleaned with a vaccuum cleaner after you have used sand/ loose flock/ ...

Interesting, the one I picked up has half round bobbles all over the back to stop it slipping...

Thank you very much for the pictures, looks good!

The one I saw at Lidl (in Germany -> still on their website) had also a backing of small bobbles. The green side looked the same though.

I'll bet if you left it lay out in the sunlight it would get a somewhat irregular fade pattern.
