If you have plenty of those still containing the scales/seed pods, that could be a solution - I was too late, the catkins I picked and scavenged not really containing much useful.

I could take the train to pick it up, but I have to find time for it. You sure this is the only bird shop that sells nesting material?

I have been searching for it, it's the only store that pops up. There might be stores without webstores/pages that carry it, but I have no means of finding out. And no pet shops in DK seem to carry that kind of product, I've made enquiries.

I thought that a kilo should give me enough to supply gaming acquaintances with leaves in abundance 

If it's too much of a hassle, never mind, I'll wait 'til next spring and go picking a bit earlier.
