Hi,
Just finished the second book in a trilogy of books by Guy Saville, The Madagaskar Plan. Just wondering if there are any figures armed with the EM-2? a long shot i know!!

Mark Evans had some commandos with EM-2s cast & was selling them, (look for the 'commandos with EM-2 rifles' thread)  but that was back in 2009, I was trying to get some recently but couldn't seem to get in contact.
Other than that, some of the West-Wind/Grindhousegames MI-13 commandos for Incursion have something quite like one.
Good luck finding some (in fact, if you do, let us all know!)
I suppose an option would be to buy SA-80s from someone like The Assault Group, shave the foregrip down a bit & paint it as wood.

Aye, I concur with Ballardian, whilst a completely different gun, shaved down SA80s with longer handguards would do for EM-2s. Wargames Factory's moderns (now owned by Warlord Games) included plastic guns, which I was thinking myself to turn into EM-2s for a small squad of British SAS to go up against my alt-history Nazis at some point.

Though besides that, I've no idea. The EM-2's a really obscure gun, despite it not being put into full scale production for want of a nail (or rather the PM at the time's need to fit in with NATO). Maybe in 1/72nd you'd find something, though its not like an EM-2 would look different from an SA80 at that scale :)

Cheers Guys,
After doing a bit of searching in various scales, i've come across these.
So in 25/28mm we have these, as previously mentioned:

20mm

15mm-Not come across anything but maybe modern British with SA80 converted to look like EM-2

10/12mm
http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/images/catalogue/MI001.jpg -armed with SA80 but maybe at this scale just a paint job on the gun might be enough for the look of the EM-2

Thanks

Jeff

Yup, it was 'The Beasts of Bolsover' minis I was talking about, I tried e-mailing him but got no reply, a pity, as they're good minis. The Incursion ones from WW are good, but I'd forgotten that there's only one pose with the 'commando carbine' (the Secrets of the Third Reich take on the EM-2) figure - you can do head-swaps but that's it.
So, as  I said, for 28mm your best bet would be adding TAG or WF SA-80s to some WG late war brits - they're decent models & there wouldn't be too much fiddling to get them to fit, good luck with your project  :)

Cheers for the help.
Pity about The Beasts of Bolsover, they do look very good figures. I'll get a few packs of the Incursion commandos and do various head swaps. I plan to use them for an 1950's East Africa Mau Mau scenario.
Same with the Call to Arms figures, i'll do head swaps on them.

Thanks again.

Similar experience for myself as with Ballardian after the bolsover figures, i contacted the chap in question and he replied once but then never again, i was gutted as  i had plans for building Mi13 commando teams around them for SOTR

jeffb - thanks for finding those, I'd hoped that someone else had picked those minis up.
