28mm Vicar
« on: May 17, 2014, 08:34:53 PM »
Can anyone point me to a 28mm English Vicar ?

The one in the Warlord Games Dad's army set would be perfect, but paying £40 for 1 figure just isn't an option  ;D

TIA

Pete

You might want to read this thread before ordering from Black Cat Bases:

If you decide against, here's Artizan's Reverend Green:

… RAFM's Priest/Exorcist 3-variant set:

… or there's the Dad's Army Vicar in Foundry's "British Characters" pack:

Back from the dead, almost.

I use the one from the Blue Moon 'Sleepy Hollow' set.

I got this Reaper Reverend model from here.

Great site and I have always had great service from Tim who runs the company. He gets the models from the USA and if he doesn't have them in stock he will order it and it generally comes within two weeks.

"my vicar leadpile"

  Love it!  :D

I always had a soft spot for armed clergy :)

Paul Hicks made a special figure of this one available from Bolt Action in the good old days

I forgot to mention the (unarmed) vicar in Musketeer Miniatures Civilians pack 2, though he definitely looks more mid-20th century than Victorian: http://www.musketeer-miniatures.com/store.php?r=19&rule=Historical&id=49

(That same page has armed clergy for the Very British Civil War Anglican league.)
