Don't want to sound like a pedantic nerd, but this particular series were not by Kevin White (who did almost all the void miniatures) but, if I'm not mistaken, by Steve Saleh.

Ha ha. At times I'm a bit obsessed with who sculpted what, of whatever range, while I realise some people possibly really couldn't care at all who made it.

Do not get me wrong. In another field of interest i do the same. And i do appreciate the artistry that is involved with sculpting a miniature.

I think they stopped crediting their sculptors when they got on like Urban Mammoth after I-Kore went down.

Google says James van Schaik did some of the Urban War things, but I don't know if these were the first wave (some are discontinued now) or the second.

Back on topic; these commando's are really growing on me, they are much nicer than what I remembered.

Yup. They are realy very nice.

Just to jump on the bandwagon, I love Void miniatures.  I have been steadily acquiring the Junker's Faction over the last few years.

They size and proportions of Void miniatures are fairly comparable with 90's era GW and warzone (height of GW and chunkyness of warzone in many cases).

I also really like the way Ikore figures paint up.  The sculpting is always well done, but they aren't over-crowded with needless detail and ornamentation like current GW. They work well with traditional painting and with the block and dip (with a touch of drybrush where necessary) method that I do. Here's a batch of Junkers I did last year, but only found the shields for them a couple months ago.
