Preview of 1/56 Chevrolet 1.5ton truck
« on: May 21, 2014, 09:25:06 PM »

Minairons Miniatures third model at 1/56 scale is already here! Here you have a few captions of one of the first models cast of our upcoming 1937 Chevrolet/GMC 1.5ton truck at this scale:

Unless an eventual, unexpected event compels us to change our overall schedule, its releasing can be confirmed for next June. Right afterwards, it will be re-scaled into 1/72.

Best wishes,
Lluís

Neat stuff, I could see picking one or two up for pulp use!

By "next June" I take it you mean this June (2014), not next June as in June 2015? (English is a stupid language sometimes, isn't it?)

All languages have oddities of their own. In my own one, there's no possible confusion at this point - when you say "next June", you're meaning the first June coming. Fine so far. However, doubts arise when referring to weeks - especially in you're in the second half of it. When saying "next weekend" in Catalan, most of the times you must clarify afterwards if meaning this current week's one, or next weeks' one. Sooo... who's talking the oddest language?  lol

Yes I meant "June 2014"  ;)

Lovely truck. As an aside I use the phrase 'the other day' to include any time in the last few years..... :D

Yes it is. Mainly resin, except for a few smaller parts in white metal.

We've just introduced in wishlist a Citroën B14 limousine - for these were used as Barcelona taxi cabs in early 1930s, besides of one being used as President's official car in Republican Catalonia:
