Lovely stuff! I know what you mean about the Scots' board (and a few others too! lol) - maybe not for beginners? It's a bit of a shame because a Scots army is one I've got all ready to go ::)
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Nice report.

The Scots board does seem to be one of the more complex ones - our Scots player seems to be able to stack a bunch of abilities on to one unit that makes it a killer. But if you can get a broad front attack going against them then each ability seems less useful on its own.

I've had some good success with the Scots, I think lack of playing any Saga at all was the root cause of my downfall, rather than the board.
That said, my impression is that boards have become more complicated with each supplement.
I was rather hoping Crescent and Cross would see something of a reset, but early reports indicate otherwise....
