Top notch, both entries.

Question:  What make and type  are those 15mm figures?

Essex minis from their Colonial / Sudan range

Essex 15's Colonials - a classic range! Love 'em!
"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

Me, too! Great spectacle on the 15's, and lovely weathering on the ships...

Well, that's buggered my chances of a top half finish !  lol

I thought that they were nicely done 28mm....at 15mm they're are fantastic.  Well done.  I doff my cap and graciously accept defeat.

Amazing 15mms.  Getting the scale right for the environment must have been as difficult as the painting!

Thanks.   It's still early.... "Dont give up the ship..."  ;)

Really like the shading on your red, blue and dark grey ships. Looks very realistic.

Pacarat this is going to be close because those ships are superb - best I have seen in a long time - great detail and shading

Reminds me of the Falklands news pictures

Thanks pacarat, it's not looking as one sided as I thought that it would.

Khartoum2 - that's the kind of feel I was going for, especially with the 2 cruise liners - and the Warships are from the Kingdom of Britannia  :)  .

Thanks for the votes for those that have chosen my miniatures.  I've really enjoyed this years competition and although I was hoping for a higher placing, I have been up against some outstanding entries.  Right, I need to up my game for next year - must search for some tutorials...
