The Wisconsin Gun Club unplugged
« on: May 25, 2014, 07:37:05 PM »
A couple of extra unadorned pics of my Round9 LPL entry - the Wisconsin Gun Club.
(Don't ask me why Wisconsin...  It's a kind of American chapter of the Whitechapel Gun Cub, one of my ongoing projects... Although this new lot will double for Gothic Horror as well as Old West).

I have placed them in Upsheet Creek (by kind permission of Mr Mason) since they will serve as my posse for his mass participation Upsheet Creek game at our British Lead Adventurers Meeting later this year  :)

I'm afraid I haven't made another Upsheet Creek building Paul - it's just the ex-PMC Games sawmill, with a paper signboard blu-tacked on  :D

The figures are all from Brigade Games, from various Victorian and Old West packs. The shootist in the loud plaid coat is a Mike Owen sculpt - I believe all the rest are from various packs done by Mr Hicks :)

I really must paint up the rest of the Bushwhackers pack (the chap with the bag over his head). Puts me in mind of that immortal scene in Django Unchained...  ;))

Bleeding gorgeous, Richard.
I love all that plaid and stripes malarkey, something that I have never been able to do successfully (although I am going to have to have a go at it soon for the Creek... ;)).
Simply wonderful.

Ironically, I have the same base building in my collection as well, and was considering using it for the Creek, although it does have different things laying around out front.
Weird.
Not as weird as the final round of the LPL, though... ;)

Beautiful paintwork.  I do like the Bushwackers set from Brigade Games though the quality is a bit "meh".  Love having a bunch of hooded figures for scenarios etc.

Fantastic ! They work well together and this is creating a very original posse.

Very nice! Amazing textiles.
The fellow with the mask is more scary than funny for me (unlike the scene from Django Unchained you referenced).

My word! Those are beautifully painted   :D, really like how the colour just "pops" out and the stripes and plaid patterns. Well done indeed sir!!!

Jolly nice, can't help thinking the chap in the plum jacket and stripy trousers is going to pull a bunch of flowers from inside his coat like a magician.

Cap'n have you named the shootists, if so who they be, left to right?
