That's a Zentraedi Regult Pod from the Macross series, which was also turned into Robotech.

From the height given, I'd wager it's an Imai 1/100 scale kit...

+++EDIT+++ Check out this recent thread: All you need to know about Robotech  :D

Geudens,

If you end up on the Robotech side of things, this recent Kickstarter should be releasing commercially in the next 6 months:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rrpgt/robotech-rpg-tacticstm

The game doesn't look all that great but a full range of the entire animated series in 1/285th (6mm-ish) scale is being released.  There are tons of great Regult pod models, etc. but if you want to wargame with them, it'll be tough.  The Kickstarter models don't look great but at the size they should be okay.

To be quite honest, I like the model above (the one I picked up) and would like a couple more but that seems to be a problem...  :(

Yep, the bigger model kits are plentiful.  The 1/200 kits...not so much (they're not very good honestly).  Also Revoltech does a line of toy figures which are quite good.  Please swing back by and let us know when you paint them up!

Thank you but sice I'm located in Belgium, this would be a rather expensive operation.  I paid €3 for the one above...

Now that is a bargain... :)

But you'll be hard pressed to find another one for that kind of money. My advise; wait till they're back in stock at HLJ and buy a couple at once, but few enough so the total amount stays below the free import limit and you don't pay extra on import taxes. Their postage rates are pretty decent too.

That's how I get a lot of my japanese kits anyway.  ;)

I have one of those and 2 command pods. 3 quid is a steal. You will not find it a that price again.

I am looking for some walkers for my "Kroot-Martians" and since I like the model and didn't know what to make of it, I posted my question here, but at the given price (and import taxes on top  :( )  there are other options I guess.  Too bad, my model will become a loner...  :D

Yeah, that was a steal...so...unless you stumble across one in a dusty corner of a hobby shop somewhere I'd plan on paying more for others.   lol  Now, while you'd still pay shipping some of the "other" mecha from the series can be had for very very reasonable.

Out of stock, but similarly priced:

Also backordered...unfortunately:

http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN953439/Sci

Jeez...all backordered!

http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN953437/Sci

^I can't speak for the scales of these things, but I'm sure you can find the size online easily enough.  All around 3-6 euros.

No idea about their actual size, but you might be interested in these warbots by Mirliton.
