The new Mechadrome Kickstarter is live now!

In this new revised campaign we will be focusing on getting the game up and running with a full color rulebook, and starting out with the Terran mechs. Here is the URL for the campaign page:

I've been in the market for some Light Mechs for SOTR, so I'll keep my eye on this one.

It is good to see that this one is back again. I am looking forward to getting hold of some mechs

I have no interest in the game (I don't game) so I hope that I can buy the mechs separately.

I reckon squads of 3 light and one medium will be perfect

.

I hope this one is more successful than the last one (with a better focus).

We know ya dont game Inso. But we wanna see your sketchup pics of what you have in mind once you get your grubby hands on the models.

Looks like the campaign page was accepted already

I'm going to hold off on launching it till tomorrow (Sunday) night. I have all of the menus done now, just have to finish the payload images then we'll be all set

I don't do sketches... I go with the flow

I was thinking of keeping them fairly standard... but I may change my mind once I buy a few. I was thinking of giving them roller skates (like AT Votoms) so they can skit about quickly

I'll wait until I get them to decide

They may well end up as the opposition for my AT Votoms project

Here's a taster with a prototype Votoms:

It is one of the reasons I was so happy when I saw this Kickstarter. The Mechs are tailor made to fit in with my future plans and they look different enough to be a completely new faction but similar enough to be made with the same tech-level. The addition of a similar movement method will just tie them together even more.

...Obviosly, they will have Space Dwarf pilots (Grymn, Brokkr or Squats... I haven't decided yet

).

All I am saying is...

This Kickstarter NEEDS to SUCCEED!!!!

I'm pretty confident it will be successful this time

The last campaign turned into kind of a mess, so I'm keeping it focused and streamlined now so it's all easy to follow. And, well, if it doesn't I'll just switch to plain old pre-order mode and release the models the old fashioned way. I already funded and molds myself so it's just a matter of getting the production models made now... for the lights and mediums anyway. The stretch goals are all for things that aren't made yet.

Gonna hit the launch button tonight after Game of Thrones

It's doing well already and I've pledged as well

I've only pledged for a starter team at the moment but only because I want to have a read of the site before I bid more. I reckon I'll be having smaller teams of 2 light and 1 medium then

(rather than 3/1).

Looks like a much better program, so good luck (and you'll obviously be hitting the goal at this point). Sadly the designs still do nothing for me, so I won't be pledging, but I'm happy to see more robots available (and who knows maybe future products will interest me!). Good luck Necros!

The campaign has been funded!

Next stretch goal will be $7000, and will unlock 3 new poses for the Terran Light Mechs. Since there are 4 light mechs per team, this will give each mech their own unique pose.

$20 for a light mech seems a bit pricey.
