Hi everyone, I've been asked a couple of places about the size of the figures, I don't know how I neglected to include that info in the first place but here's a couple of helpful pictures for you.

(I kept the groups separate to prevent a skirmish from breaking out).

It's been a great first day, we've reached over 30% already in such a short time, thanks so much to everyone that has jumped on board!

Don't forget to tell all your friends, if there's a forum, news feed or related site that you think would want to know about the project then please spread the word. Also note that you can find me on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Meridian-Miniatures/278329682295664 for some reason KS doesn't seem to be able to sync to my page.

Cons:

1) Size keeps that from being used with anything else I currently plan on keeping.

2) Well, give me some time and I may come up with a #2

3) My budget is a little tight right now.

Pros:

1) I like them a lot.

2) The wife and daughters may like the 'cartoon' and 'cute' factors of the figures.

3) I can think of several rules I can adapt to play with these figures.

Gracias,

Glenn

And we're live!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2004599158/tooth-and-sword

t's my great pleasure to launch the Kickstarter crowdfunding for my new range on figures called "Tooth & Sword". I've been working on these figures since before Christmas in my spare moments from full time commission sculpting. It's been great fun coming up with these figures and I'm really happy that I can finally share them with you. For those of you that don't know, the Meridian Miniatures team consists of just me with a little help from some talented folk providing artwork, graphics and so on. There's no design team or international manufacturing partners, I just want to share the best figures I can with those that really want to own them. To that end I've sculpted all of the figures myself and I'm having the casting handled by some of the UK's best firms, both metal and traditional resin options are provided, no crossing your fingers over novel or unfamiliar materials. This is a modest campaign, I'm not hoping to race through endless "stretch goal" figures but I am hoping to be able to give away all sorts of printed goodies and more should we raise enough to allow me to. Being a one man band I need all the help that I can to promote the campaign so please, if you can, spread the word, share on social media and any forums you frequent.
Many, many thanks.
Andrew

Waiting for the puppy, the piglet, the mouse...   ;)   lol

Actually I am intrigued about the silhouettes of the Neutrals...   8)

Gracias,

Glenn

Not my kind of thing but they look great models. Hope the KS goes well and look forward to seeing people start to daub their models once it's over.

Needs a badger.  ;)

I don't suppose you know how they scale next to Super Dungeon Explore figures? Might attract some interest from people collecting those if they are compatible.

Well, I sculpted for Impact and the scale is the same.
There's this picture floating around the web of a comparison between SDE, Warheads and Impact (right).

Hope that's helpful.

Actually for a stand-alone project idea like I have, quite helpful.

How I am going to justify the $$ and where I am going to get it is still TBD...

Gracias,

Glenn

Hi everyone! I'm not going to have much free time this weekend so I thought that I would leave you with this preview for the meantime.

He's a Mouse city guard, he could be employed as a fighter or mercenary in many a situation I'm sure. It would be in my best interest in mould costs to keep these neutral figures held back until we reach £4000 so I'll be revealing them as the days pass to drum up further interest.

I'm also working on a couple of "add on" models but they'll probably be staying under wraps until they're ready to show.

I might get chance to pop by and comment over the weekend from time to time but otherwise I'll wish you a good one!

Cheers, Andrew.

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend and all the other fathers out there had a pleasant day yesterday.

Today I have a rabbit illusionist for you. She's ready to outwit and beguile any adversaries you might encounter. I've also spent more time working on an add on figure and more today, so I'll have something else to share very soon.

I am backing this and hope it succeeds. :)

Chibi + anthropomorphics + fantasy = win! :)

Putting the kictraq chart here as that kind of thing can draw a little extra profile by doing so (I can say from experience). :)

Thanks Leon.

Yesterday's bunny went down well and just as it seems KS is suddenly short of chibi bunnies...

Today we have the Pug fighter! A real asset to any adventuring party that might roam in dangerous woods and ruins!

Now, the tentative news I have is that I will be giving the moulding company a call tomorrow and having a chat about changing the mould configuration to let me unlock the neutrals whilst still remaining viable within the £3000 goal. I posted the masters off to them "next day" today so they can look the options over (they already have the Good Guys). If it works out I will be adding new pledge levels so that you can all get the full set should you want them.

so, more to come tomorrow.
