No. 94

I've just painted one of my 5 tribal archers for my Pulp Alley league, so I will include here too (It's a Copplestone miniature):

Excellent Darrell, I believe I have this figure in my spares box because I only used three of the command figures for my Askaris, I didn't think to paint these up as Ansar but I will now :)

Be my guest mate  8).

Yeah, the whole range of Ansar are very versatile with a little imagination- all sorts of vignettes could be made up.

I'll post up some more if we don't reach 100 by tomorrow  :)

Darrell.

Lovely paint jobs there lads I especially like the "Nubian" skin tones on the archer and whilst the mounted police officer is excellent the basing is my favourite and looks very realistic. Thanks for sharing.

I'm kind of glad the forum went down for a couple of days, I got to finish this chap and I'm insanely happy with the hat number  :D

No. 96 British infantry of the 31st (The Young Buffs) 1860's

That is a lovely looking figure Jimbo. I think you did well with the number too.

Let me present you all to my latest D.A. miniature.

#97: The Chieftain.

Mbele Mbule was the fearsome leader of the Zimbolian tribe during the Danish/Swedish occupation of parts of the Gold Coast.

Well, the expedition is nearly done, but I've managed to sneak one extra chap in to make up the numbers

Very nearly there. Last chance, almost.

Bit miffed I haven't contributed much to the second half of the Expedition. I had loads of plans but real life gets in the way sometimes. Oh well, at least it's given other folks a good chance. Don't want to hog all the slots.  :)

I have a half done miniature on my paint station that I'm definitely NOT getting finished. I have been busy painting Mantic zombies, and doing outdoor stuff. I promise to get the linked series of miniatures done I planned to do, and shown in a separate thread though!
