That's brilliant Plynkes. You are certainly leading by example on this one.

Yep, absolutely first class, great idea, superbly executed :-*

Loving the Sudanese trooper- awesome and unique!  :-*

I don't think I trust that merchant although. Could he test fire that gun first?

Angry Angry Hippo #50

Yet another plastic toy that Grandpa has "acquired" from his monkey boys.  The proportions are probably not great but the price was right and those boys weren't going to play with it like Grandpa will anyway!

An appropriately substantial entry to mark the half-way point.  :)

We've come quite a way, through swamps, forests and over mountains. Seems like a good place to stop and have some dinner. I hope everyone brought their packed lunches?

I have this in my picnic (Old Scrotum, the aged family retainer packed it for me), I can share if anyone has neglected to bring adequate provisions?

12 Jeroboam of Dom Pérignon
3 bottles Warre's 1896 Port (an exceptional vintage)
5 lbs. of Cold Salmon
Mayonnaise Sauce
1 Quarter of Lamb
Mint Sauce
1 Large Galantine of Veal
3 Boiled Chickens
1 Ham
2 Pigeon Pies
Salad with Dressing
2 Cucumbers
2 Fruit Tarts
Pastry Sandwiches
2 Jellies
2 Creams
Custard
1 Gallon of Strawberries
3 lbs. of Grapes
1 lb of Cheese
½ lb. of Butter
4 Loaves of Bread
25 Montecristo Double Edmundo cigars

Tuck in chaps, tuck in!
