Quote form your blog.  Some people don’t like the Black Tree Design figures because of their somewhat strange  ribbed hats...

When I painted some I heard the same.  I really enjoyed painting the figures and thought they were great sculpts.  Chunky and dynamic.  I thought if I ever paint any more of them I might reduce the ribs as an experiment.

A nice firing line there. I have a few BTD figures in my collection and yes, they did look a little 'off' at first, but they painted up well and I like them.
