slow month (lots of holidays which I have to work
)
did manage to finish these :
West Wind's Nigel for Incursion :
and 1 15mm SF building by Critical Mass. Several more to go, but the greasy resin is truely demotivating.
After my standard cleaning procedure I noticed pooling of the primer, so I sanded those spots with a P1500 and gave the pieces another 24 hrs in a dish washing solution together with a good scrubbing. Priming seemed ok, as did my first layer of color and my gloss coat to seal everything before taping of the (white) band. To my horror I peeled off entire patches of paint when removing the masking tape (Tamiya, made less adhesive by use of my sweater)
This one building took the least damage and I decided to touch up the resin spots. The other will come in a standard sandy color.
The whole set is from Laertes, and as I told him, if these were my own, I had probably smashed 'em against the wall.
