Old Skool Skellies
« on: June 04, 2014, 09:24:20 PM »
The Boy finally went to sleep so I managed to finish these for thebinmann.

A larger than usual Nightmare Legion (plus a couple of mates):

Close up of the Command Group:

A selection of Troopers:

The Zombie General:

And his champion chum:

Photos aren't the best due to lack of decent light in my cubby hole at the moment, but I hope you can see what's what.

All C&C gratefully accepted as usual.  :)

They are the real bones  :)

For some reason I really like the plain blue shields with a touch of grot on them!

Hey, I remember those! I probably have some of them somewhere...

Back when Citadel still gave every single miniature they released an individual name...

Nice work.

For moi the Old Minis hold Old Memories of Folk I gamed with & haven't seen in a long time. That aside, the Old Skeletons have a charm to them that your EXCELLENT brushwork brought out WONDERFULLY. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks again fellas.

@ Matthias Mouse - I'm afraid you won't find one quite like that as the left arm is a replacement from the plastic Empire Militia sprue. Fits quite nicely though, I think.

It does indeed, the horse is the main 'part' I would need, I think I would sculpt a decaying knight for it. Thanks for the info and I shall keep an eye out for it on ebay/the bazaar.
