Buy seperate shields
« on: June 07, 2014, 03:00:14 PM »
Hi,

First, sorry for my bad english. It's not my mother tongue...

I am currently building an army of the perry man at arms, and i would love to see a few shields on them.
Does anybody know a site where I can buy seperate shields?

Greetings

Make your own...easy.
A link to making pavisen

It works for pavisen and kite shields etc are even easier.
I knew the truck didnīt want to hit me...it had dodge written on the front

Think The Assault Group (TAG) do as well.

What scale are the Excentric Miniatures shields?

As they are just extracts from their 28mm foot knight box, I think there's a fair chance of them being 28mm...

Caveat emptor: there seems to be a hand molded on the back side, but that should be easy enough to remove.

Actually, the knights seem interesting. I think these are the first minis I've ever seen where you can actually distinguish the individual chain links in the chainmail. Which does make the chain links quite big in scale, but it does look kinda cool.

Ah, sorry, I hadn't heard of Eccentric Miniatures until I read this thread! Thanks for the info though  8)- it may well come in handy at some stage.

Darrell.

No problem, I hadn't either. I just followed the link and browsed around a little.

I probably should get some as a sampler, they seem interesting and the price is okay even with shipping.

I reckon I'll try a box of these come payday. The poses may prove to be a little bit stiff, but they're cheap enough to experiment on and they certainly look bonny enough.
