I recently finished this little painting commission. Some great old models and in my opinion the best Skaven sculpts Citadel have put out to date. The giant rats are from a later era and one ratman is apparently from a different manufacturer. Basing was modelled by the client. Great fun to paint. This time I didn't 'cheat' when it came to doing the shield designs so that's all freehand, which isn't saying much considering it's one of the simplest designs I could have picked.

Another wonderful batch of painted minis from Stone-Cold-Lead. I found a stash of these guys hiding in a get-around-to-it box recently. I didn't want to stop what I was working on so I set them aside. Now I have an urge to dig them out again. That dragon is never gonna get done.

The Old Rat Guys are WONDERFULLY painted & BEAUTIFULLY based. They are sure to make your patron happy...ecstatic would be more likely. VERY WELL DONE!

Great work.

A few years ago I got lucky at a convention flea market. A guy was selling a brownie pan full of painted 3rd edition Skaven for $60. There were easily 60 models including four of the old rat ogres. $60 was an awesome deal for those figs but I couldnt resist a bit of haggling and I talked him down to $50.

I'm even impressed by the goat!!! Subtle fur and the eye is perfect.
