Finally had our first game of JD last night, 2 500 point gangs facing off in the turf war scenario, Dave's Citi Def (using old school 40k Praetorian imp Guard) vs my Mobsters, not many photos unfortunately so you'll have to visualise a bit...
Set Up.
Lots of buildings around a central square with a road down one side.
Daves praetorians set up in elevated positions, with my crims (out of shot) on the other side of the square in low rise buildings plus a couple by one of the cars on the road.
Round 1
Crims go first with a 3 including the gang leader "Two Gun Reg" making a beeline for the Citi Def positions, along the gantry at the top of the picture, Gang blitzer opening up from one of the Low rise roofs at the praetorian with the Grenade (missile) launcher on the balcony. Being woefully out of range the bullets from the heavy spitter fall way short, meanwhile the remaining two punks jump into a people mover (Ford Focus!) and start hooning toward the citi def buildings, with the passenger blazing out of the window with his Zip gun, again well out of range.
Citi Def respond with missile launcher firing a hi Ex round at the leader and two minions on the gantry, killing two and missing the leader, death of 25% of gang causes will to fight check that sees the Blitzer and driver of the people mover to skive off to safety, 4 crims gone, and only one Citi Def guy has activated!
Next two citi def dudes pop out of cover and hose down 2 gun reg with Spit rifles, killing him with three hits...remaining gangers drop their bundle (being in line of sight to Two Gun) and scarper.
Game over before the end of round 1, about 10 minutes actual game time...Awesome!
