Next Across the Dead Earth campaign scenario.
« on: June 19, 2014, 05:02:42 PM »
Come Monday we will take our gangs (the Bunyan Road Skins and the Kimbolton Road Budgens Duffers) out for a spin again and play the second campaign game.

This time we will loot the Retail Park in Bedford, hoping to score lots of points to train/ equip our Yob gangs with. But there'll be complications of course!!!  :D

Each time a Loot counter is turned over, roll a D6, on a 5+ something unforeseen happens.

1-3: Rats!!! A family of carnivorous rats have made their home here and is not appreciating being disturbed!!! They only fight for this round with an Attack +1, and if not being Knocked Out the scavenger manages to beat them off. However, if he is Knocked Out the family will try to eat him!!! Skill 4 for purposes of taking the scav Out of Action.

4-5: Wild dog!!! A starving feral dog is drawn to the delicious scent of the Loot (and maybe the scav too). The dog will attack with +2 and continue until a) a firearm is discharged within 6" or being beaten back. Toughness 7.

6: Trap!!! The Loot is served as a decoy for a scrupulous individual who lies in wait. He is armed with a Pistol and a Combat Knife and is placed behind some cover up to 6" away from the counter and will shoot first. Toughness 7 and Skill 4.

"The Shadow knows!!! Hahahahaha!"

Great stuff again in terms of scenario and game specific rules. The Rats and Dogs type events will definitely be a feature of From Sea to Poisoned Sea (as well as the Sollus, of course!)

Thank you!!!

We really enjoy the rules but have a slow gaming rate, mostly due to RL. I think both me and my mate enjoy to incorporate random unaccountable elements in a scenario, maybe not every one, but it sure makes them a lot more interesting as it adds to the unpredictability of it ;-).
