Wargames Illustrated Articles

A couple of decent articles on Pulp and Steampunk this month in a rare lapse......

Noticed that too.  ;)

JUST WHAT IS STEAMPUNK?
In this interview James Griffiths of Infamy Miniatures outlines what Steampunk means to him.

SCAVENGER HUNT
True life Pulp-style adventuring is outlined in this article by Steve Dake and Dave Taylor. They focus on the actions of Napoleon’s forces in Egypt with regard to the discovery of the Rosetta Stone and the quest to acquire items of antiquity.

Noticed also that they still had to have a historical flavor to the game though and couldn't let themselves go too far into the realms of mayhem and super hero.

There are some superbly painted miniatures in that Pulp article, wouldn't you think? One of them's on the front cover, see.

Oh look, below that there are also some superbly painted Paras. I wonder if there's an article to accompany them?
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.
