So after getting into DMH and having a soft spot for themed armies/groups/gangs. I've started a Confederate Bushwacker gang, rather handy was that in this months Wargames Illustrated there's rules for these guerilla chaps (I was and still might do run this as a Outlaw gang as Deserters/After-war)

I just like to state in no way was I going for historical colours or even realistic heh, so if my colour palate offends the purist well too bad hehe.

Captain & Bushwacker W/Shotgun

The plan is to run red as a spot colour to help when gaming (Easy to spot) but I will try to limit the grey as much as possible on the Guerillas/Ruffians and use more browns.

Do it :), they don't have much for sale atm but I'm sure if the sets sell well they'll put more items out.

Like the figures.
Do they have mounted guys for the same figures?

I think I saw a mounted set (4 riders) as well. Very reasonably priced that you can't argue with, at least if you're in the UK!!!

Any comparison pictures against the "usual suspects", Foundry, Artizan, Black Scorpion etc?

There is a set of 8 mounted Bushwackers, but they are slighty different scultps to the foot troopers:

I'll do a scale shot when I get my Old Glory James-younger gang sorted/in my hands

Nice work, Chico!  I really like your Bushwackers.

I live near Northfield, MN, site of the Northfield Raid by the Younger-James gang.  I look at your fellows and can tell they won't retire just because the war ended.  ;)

Many thanks and rather interesting bit of info :), speaking of the James-Younger gang though they happen to be my next DMH gang project.

Picked these up for them (Mix of Foundry and Dixon)

I think I may have a addiction to Bushwacker gone-Outlaws heh.

My Bushwackers killing off some rival northern Outlaws... no doubt under the pay of Jayhawkers.

Chico, looks like you're off to a flyin' start.  I'm not normally a fan of colour-coded skirmish groups but these work - probably because of the uniforms.  Simple little town to start with too - amazing how easy/fun it is to get started in Old West gaming.  Not as easy as gladiators...but close!
