Picts for Dux Britanniarum Raiders
« on: June 21, 2014, 08:43:13 PM »
Having finished our first Dux Britanniarum campaign, my friend and I are getting set to start another using the Raiders supplement.  I couldn't pass up painting a Pict chariot, especially with all the lovely heads!  Between DB and Chain of Command, I'm hooked on TFL products.

Thanks fellows!  These are all Gripping Beast figures.  GB is readily available in the US and at a great price.  With their deep bench, GB is my "go to" for Dark Age figures. I do want to try other Dark Age lines, like Musketeer Miniatures.

The 6 severed heads (3 on each side) are a unique way to kit out a chariot.  All those heads clunking on the side of the chariot would make a terrible racket, I imagine.  Maybe that's why the Pict lord looks like such a madman.   ;)

Lovely work. As an enthusiast for DB AND Picts, I really appreciate this.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!
