The pics don't do it justice!  It looks waaay better up close and personal!!

Well on gary's say-so, I'll have to plan an adventure downtown again and see these beauties close up. Like I really need an excuse to visit Thomas' place.  ::)

Any time Todd, I know it's a trek across time and conflicting work schedules, but you have a standing reservation at this Chinatown joint.  :D

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

I know, right? Thomas has the perfect gaming locale. Slightly seedy, slightly exotic. Something for everyone.  ;)

Not surprised Tom ended up in Chinatown, Vancouver!  We spent enough time eating there in high school! :P

So are we going to see a pulp aerial extravaganza at Trumpeter Salute 2015, sir?

Hope so!

That's how it's looking from here... I have a stash of vehicle kits to put together to add to the fun; trucks and sedans from Company B, Blue Moon and E-Bob..  ;D

I might go more 1950's sci-fi rather than pure 30's Pulp, but we'll see how the pieces fall into place.

Oh, the Horten is pretty much finished now. Just trying to make up my mind on some additional weathering, but I think I could call it a wrap at this point with no regrets.

Pictures coming up directly. ::)

I have just discovered this wonderful thread, Mr P, and have to say that there is some wonderful work going on here.
 :-* :-*

This plane lark is obviously seriously addictive as I have just realised that I have spent the last half an hour looking at various options.
Dammit!
 :o

I think that I will hooked if I dont leave quickly.

Yeah, who am I kidding!!!  lol lol lol

I really liked what those U.S. WWWII troops added to our three-player game this last weekend... All the more reason to get that big stash of Pulp Figures USMC in tin hats & ranger hats painted up. A much more colourful faction for the game I would like to put on...

In any case we will just have to see what bits end up on the table on the day.

That's what I was telling you last week!  3 act campaigns!  Meteor crash...Soldier gets infected...  GIANT PLANT MONSTER!!!

The army is ALWAYS in those movies...Particularly the British Army.  Those poor Cockney privates are always getting killed or transmuted or something!

USMC vs Radon Zombies for sure... But where?!

I have a sinister plan that should prove entertaining.

The Horten is finished. Suppose I should re-christen it now that the German livery has been painted over...  ;)
This new version could be flown by any capable villain or hero willing to invest in advanced super-secret rocket-science aircraft.

Still not sure about the jet-exhaust effect. Maybe a dab of oil paint to tone it down...
As it stands the contrast is nice at three feet where it counts the most.

Pilots and cockpit detail manage to 'pop' out nicely through the canopy.

The fit of the main weapon might be a sore-point for some, but you really can't see how the bombs or the big-cannon are attached when the thing is on the table, so this is a minor detail.

I like that you get a choice of bombs or a big gun...  o_o

This completes my 'Pulp Air Force' mini-project. The three birds have all been fun to get ready for the table-top, but this last one was the best. It really reminds me of seeing the Vulcan Bomber fly overhead at the local air-show when I was a kid. I thought that was the coolest thing ever...
