I just ran across this thread and wanted to say how great everything looks! I particularly like the variations in the fur on the wargs. Very nice! I've just recently dived back into painting up my own LOTR collection so seeing PLOGs like this is always inspirational.

It's been a while (

), but finally got round to painting up my Rohan cavalry, with Eomer leading the charge.

Now I have enough to play small games of Saga or Dragon Rampant. I do have plenty more plastics and a few metal characters, so maybe I will add them at some point. I have also painted some Mordor reinforcements, I will post those in a few days.

Thanks. I love the LotR range and I have plenty more to paint, it's just finding the time. I need a time turner!

Agreed, love the Rohan range, though all the other stuff is well done too. It's a shame they are not multi part plastics like the Perry twins now do under their own badge (I think I'm right in saying it was they who sculpted pretty much the whole LotR range). There's a reasonable range of poses, but you can't help but have duplicates even in a small group.

Simply wonderful, I really like your style of painting. Do you use a lot of washes & glazes?
I really like the Rohan range too, quite a number of them mix in well with my Dark Age stuff.

Thank you kind sir. I do indeed wash and glaze. If I can paint a figure without any highlighting, I will - start from white primer and work up, lightest colours on first, glaze on the shading as much as possible. That's my technique whenever I can make it work, it seems okay here.
