New 1/56 Chevrolet truck, already available
« on: July 10, 2014, 05:52:34 PM »

After a good number of months waiting, our 1/56 scale supporters can now enjoy another Spanish Civil War model in their favourite scale. This is 1937 Chevrolet 1.5ton truck, a model kit composed by 17 parts --11 of which are high quality resin, while the smaller 6 ones are white metal.

Here below you can watch it once assembled and painted by Bruce Murray:

This new 1/56 scale softskin vehicle is already available through our website - and hopefully soon from our main stockists and retailers too!

If willing to know a little else, please read this post in our blog.

Best regards,
Lluís Vilalta

OOOooooooh!!  VERY Nice!!

I'm a Ford man meself though...

Aside from that ex-flightcrew ramp rod '62 Apache 10 Carryall the USAF graciously allowed me to "pilot"

I think I'll boycott this model on principle.

Until we get 28mm Republican Militiawomen!!

Wow! Excellent model!! :-* :-* :-*

I know it's probably not the right model of truck, but I can almost see Indiana Jones climbing along the sides, trying to get to the Nazis driving the thing!

a great number of civilian trucks were requisitioned and used by french army ( and there were chevrolet among them )

2000 GMC ACK 353 1 1/2 ton were ordered by France in 1939 , 760 were delivered before the blitzkrieg , at leat 82 were issued to the 15th regiment of dragons portés ( mecanized infantry) .
and an unknown number of spanish republican vehicles and equipement were caught at the border from refugies , and used by the french army ...

and some were used by german army

.

its a mobile kitchen , custom made  :)

so, luis, the ww2 board may be useful too  ;)

Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques là-dessus.
