Snafu:
Building a castle using the same techniques and materials used in the Middle Ages?
Unbelievable. But the folks over at Guedelon project in France do it since many years.

I love this project and tried to make a little diorama of a medieval building site. I tried do build something in a kind of modular way, so certain parts of the diroma can be replaced.
Scale ist about 1:72. Figures are from Toma and Heckler&Goros. Two guys are children in 28mmm from a set i used in a diorama on vikings some time ago.

Dr DeAth:
Very nice, I'm going to steal a few ideas from your build for sure :D
Black Burt:
Nice model, captures the feel of a medieval building site very well. I have been following the Guedelon project for a couple of years on the internet, maybe one day I will see it for real.
Captain Blood:
It's like the set from Pillars of the Earth ;)
That's a nice little scene. Well done :)
Silent Invader:
Pillars of the Earth was my first thought as well.
Well done!
