Walkin DAD Test game solo with pictures
« on: July 12, 2014, 12:24:30 PM »
Dear pals,

I purchased the rules of Peter for his zombie game and tested them in a solo game

My characters were
1. Joe with two pistols and three additional clips
2. Frank with MP three clips and a machete
3. Janice with chain saw and shot gun with 2 set of full reloads

The aim was to search five locations with random events. I used twenty walkers two runners and one fattie and dirstributed them over the area.

I have some troubles with my photo box. I hope it works.

The survivors show slow progress and  advance while taking out walker after walker

Fattie is advancing

And here comes the runner

Both of them died quite fast. I did play the rules partialy wrong ( I decided that every 6 is doing one point of damage, correct is that only one damage is made for each shot that hits)

I really dislike my photobox. If you have a tipp what works better I would give it a try.

the survivors got near the first random search location and found with the tools a survivor with a gun

The second location was searched

and the team went up to search the third of five locations

I really dislike my photobox. If you have a tipp what works better I would give it a try.

more will follow

Last set of pictures

the third location was searched, Additional zombies were spawned

The fourth location was searched succesfully. Additional zombies were spawned

Last location but not many zombies are left

The survivors fled with the searched parts and tools and found some help ( and a mouth to feed)

The rules are working fine.

I made some mistakes, I also forgot to roll the dice inside the building and maybe I used not enough zombies.

On my wishlist are a campaign system, more weapons and survivors skills.

Peter did a very good job.

Great pictures-great set up.
Maybe use more Z next game.
I take 35 Z+2 Hordes and 5 Marker per 120 x 60 cm aera.
Marker are very dangerous. No one knows what they would bring ( I know my bad English - I hope you understand what I try to tell )
The hordes are used to block some aera parts, because they can´t be killed.
Have you count the shots?
In my games the munition was extremly short.
I´m waiting for the next report.
