Seeking Scarabs
« on: July 12, 2014, 07:57:56 PM »
I need some scarab minis, single figures, preferably fitting on a 20mm round base.

Can somebody please point me to a manufacturer/store that has some?  :)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

These from Reaper's Bones range, maybe?

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

I used the Reaper scarab swam in my Egyptian dig gallery.  Reaper also has a great victim figure in their Chronoscope line (3262).  You can see them both in pics 86 and 87 of my 28MM Pulp Egyptian Dig gallery at www.warin15mm.com/28MM-Pulp-Egyptian-Gallery.html

I would prefer single beetles, but if swarms is the only available option, I may have to settle for that.

I have one of the old Citadel swarm blisters with beetles, but only one of the models bear resemblance to a scarab.

Otherworld has beetles that could work:

Crocodile has a scarab:

They both seem to be about this size you are looking for...
