WGF British AWI infantry
« on: July 13, 2014, 08:02:50 PM »
Today I put together some of the WGF Awi lobster backs. They're quite easy to put together, although you have to be carefull to differntiate between the regular and grenadier arms. A little bit more work that the Perry plastics but certainly worth it. Net stop, painting :-D

Wargames Factory just keep getting better.

I've been pretty rude about their Sammies in the past, but these are very nice indeed.

Thanks for posting  :D

That does it!  I think I'll be getting these instead of the Perry plastics.  Well...maybe I'll get the Perry toys later.   :D

The faces are great.

They're all incredibly handsome.

Can't be British soldiers ;)

Gotta say, they do look very fine indeed for the most part.

LOL...
Captain....youre incredibly handsome too !

What I mean was that the faces look different. Some very popular sculptors often sculp the same facial expression.

Did you guys notice that WE won the World Cup  :D

what poses can be made of one box?

- aiming/firing
- ramming down the cartridge
- biting off cartridge
- pouring down powder down the barrel
- advancing
- at the ready

and then of course the officers, drummer, hornblower and flag bearers

I like the look of the figures.
If I was going to get back into AWI I would use these figures.
Thanks for posting.
Look forward to seeing them painted.
