1st Corps Erhhart
« on: August 18, 2014, 05:42:35 PM »
I picked up a 1st Corps Erhhart E-V/4 at Phalanx and after a couple of months of it remaining half painted  it is now finished. Like the rest of this 1st Corps range it is a really nice model.

Like this. It looks suitably ramshackle.

With a smoke stack on the back it could be turning up some VSF?

Nice work. She is a beast (I have one too to paint).

I like the weathering,I wish I'd done a smaller cross on mine,now.
For VSF I think the Rommfel would be easier there's room for piston's an a smoke stack.

Nicely done!  Hand-painted crosses?   :)

Thanks for the comments. The crosses are actually transfers from Veni Vidi Vivci. They were left overs from some medievals shields I was painting. I painted the  car in its main Fieldgrey colouring, then painted the white square background on the car , applied the transfer to this & then used the Fieldgrey to  touch up ensuring the white square was the same dimensions as the balkan crosses.
I had intended putting larger crosses on but I actually quite like the small but promient markings on the large vehicle.
