A cracking job well done, sir.
With the added bonus of versatility too.

Lovely work! This really gives me the feeling of the 40k universe I used to love - a lived in grungy world with a punk vibe.

Some of the new stuff is really cool of course, but somehow the ultra-baroque stylings of the 40k upper-class seems to have become the default aesthetic for everything and it just doesn't suit the low-life areas or regular cities.

I'm 100% with you mirjeki - the 40k Gothic vernacular is all very well and good, but actually I prefer dusty fringe settlements and underhive slums for my setting :)

A bit of a change of pace as I was looking for something quick and easy to blast out. I picked up an undercoated transport vehicle from my WIP pile and painted it to match my Inquisitional commandos. This was a super quick and dirty paint job, but I like the results!

As ever, more words and pics over at my blog.

Very cool, the wheeled MRAP look is way better than the original.

Glad you all like the new truck!

Something a little different this week, as I finished an entry for a challenge to evoke the artwork of Tony Hough as seen in many GW publications from the late 1980s. My choice was this brilliant illustration from the Rogue Trader rulebook:

I converted up an old Rogue Trader space pirate, did lots of resculpting, and ended up with this:

And with a little bit of a scenic backdrop:

Hopefully it does the job and evokes the artwork sufficiently.

Love it and the Taurox (if that's what it's called)  8)

That came out really well, I never noticed the Worldburner helmet before!
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.
